THIS Hero Arts beauty arrived in my mailbox today and I just had to spend some time with it. It is so easy to make one layer cards when the stamp covers the entire card! I made two versions tonight and I have more ideas to try soon.

Liquid Pearls and Distress Inks version (see Jennifer McGuire's video HERE):



Copic Markers version (I don't do them justice, I'm sure Alice and others could do so much better):



Oddly enough I prefer the top version but my sweet hubby prefers the bottom version.

Here are a few more cards using some of my favorite NEW Hero Arts 2011 stamps (CL488 Type, CG280 My Type, CG244 Large Fabric Design, and CG268 Thank You Definition)!

I decided to stop hoarding some of my supplies for these cards. I used folded note cards and layering pieces from The Paper Cut and crocheted flowers from eBay (sorry, can't recall the seller). I will also post close-ups in my Flickr Photostream.

Quick Hello & Giveaway

Just a quick hello today using some of my favorite NEW Hero Arts 2011 stamps, plus an "itty bitty" giveaway, too!

I only had a little time to make cards tonight, so I kept it very simple. I used Hero Hues notecards and stamps (CL502 Just Saying Hi and CG269 Happy Definition) and created two sets of cards.
